Hi again. im here with a new problem . when i try to login battle.net in game i got this error:

Already tried running w3l.exe as admin, defragment (someone suggested at blizzard support forum). Also i got 400gb free space at games directory. this is read/write permission issue i think but i cannot solve this.

Edit: also tried to disable ESET, created exception for w3 folder but didnt help

Can someone check if native fullscreen breaks when using opengl mode? It seems to be the case on my end

Yes it is read only. but the thing is formerly it was only blocking migration progress and i was able to login. this time migration still fails and also cant login. btw on documents folder admins, users and applications have permission to modify but it still failes. do you know which group (users, applications etc.) game belongs in so i can let it modify that folder.

@daft: ahm no further ideas, for some reason w3 can't write to disk. You can add me on skype and we can try to solve it together (cenarius21)

Finally solved problem.. Changed ownership of game directory (D:\Warcraft III) to administrators and it worked (yay). Migration is still failing but i can login now so screw migration . Thanks for your effort.

How does the migration fail? I suggest you manually move the folders over.

but this time this pops up while progress bar at 1%. again a writing protection crap of windows causes the error but i couldnt find how to remove it. anyway it does not affect on game so i just left it.

I think you can tell w3 that migration went through via registry.

Thanks for 1.28 untold error it migrated my maps and then it asked for cdkey to start every time when I reinstalled it all my maps where gone
I only did patch 1.28b to play on it

You can only start 1.28.2 warcraft with eurobattle.net client
