Na`Vi and DK in $10,000 Premier League

The tournaments are already adding up for Dota 2 which, as most already know, still rests in its' beta phase. The newest addition is The Premier League where 10 top teams from all over the planet will battle it out for 2 months starting January 4th.

The Premier League is created by Laurent 'Ange' Blum, sponsored by Twitch.tv and covered by DotaCommentaries. And finally, we see some of the biggest teams of DotA - the WC3 edition, join in with some of Dota 2 teams with recent achievements. They will play together in a league system, where all face each other in best-of-2 matches. The teams will be awarded with points using the regular sports system; 3pts for a win, 1pt for draw and 0pt for a loss.

$100 GosuCup Season 1 Winner determined

Last Sunday the last stage of the $100 GosuCup Season 1 has been played and the remaining eight players fought for the grand prize of $100.
The top four have already qualified for the groupstage of GosuCup Season 2, which is going to hold a total of $500 in prizes.
But only one player could pick up the $100 grand prize and this player had a run for his money, especially in the final best of five.
The winner is non other than the Russian Terran reps)Pro7ecT who showed us once again what he is made off. The runner up is the US-American Zerg Michael and those two together gave us a great show for the final games.

The replays of the finals are available in our replay section, while the bracket contains all the replays of the final stage.

As many of the matches were casted live by Sayle you can also find these matches over at his YouTube channel in the GosuCup Finals playlist. The other playdays are also listed in the playlist list.

EmoCore are Infused

Another day, and another organization enters the Dota 2 scene. The Swedish team EmoCore has been picked up by Team Infused. EmoCore had been unaffiliated since parting ways with the Druidz organization in September. This pickup marks a second step into the Dota genre for Infused, which also sponsors a Heroes of Newerth team in addition to CounterStrike 1.6, Team Fortress 2, Call of Duty and StarCraft II players. The team is currently participating in The Defense.

Poor Happy Guys wins InsideDOTA Invitational to cash in $600 USD

Romanian squad Poor Happy Guys, formerly with TeG, won the first InsideDOTA Invitational to cash in $600 USD.

The grand final, played this Tuesday, saw the Romanians go up against NEXT from Kazakhstan in a best of three final.

The first game was a very one-sided story, with PHG winning with 39-7, ending the game at the 36 minute mark with a team wipe. With a hero composition of Lich, Tidehunter, Puck, Storm Spirit and Riki, the Romanian team dominated the Dire side that had Windrunner, Venomancer, Earthshaker, Weaver and Witch Doctor.

Final standings
1. Romania PHG $600 USD
2. Kazakstan NEXT.kz $250 USD
3. Germany mTw $150 USD
