If you suffer it too much try this:

1. Wait for new installer [it may be fixed there, or maybe moonstar could make a choice in it, do you want to install client with or without new graphics]. (Recommended)

2. Go to your W3 dir and move file d3d8.dll anywhere u want, but dont delete it. It will fix your letters and graphics, but may cause instabillity of game. If u wana roll back process, just return d3d8.dll to W3 dir. (Not recommended)

Edit: If you are asking me, its best 1. cuz there are some users that like it, and there is some that dont like it. Choice is best thing to make.

imo...Put the old one back.

The new font is too "squeezed" and just doesn't fit :/ and also looks too much "terminal" like though terminal can look imba this looks in a very bad way

Let's stay original. We're all used to the old font and took it as a part of how w3 looks like.

The point is...does the new font really look so much better (let's say it does) that server needed this replacement? Was something wrong with old one?

the problem is that you changed font without first asking community and I would like atleast option for old/new font when starting w3.

It does look blurry; I'm thinking it's because the "Song Light" font is somewhat thin, so the sampling is very inaccurate.
The Fritz Quadrata (the original one) can be better reproduced on different sizes (which is probably why Blizzard chose to go with it).

If I could suggest something (which probably you may already be planning to do), why make only one specific font for everyone to use?
If you could place a choice in the installer for each user to select their favorite font, then everyone will be pleased and not just the majority of voters.

No need to make drama of this, just wait for moon, new installer incoming. It will fix this 'split sides' issue.

Hi, just came to let you all know that we had some problems with the new installer and we're now trying to fix it as fast as possible. That's why i haven't posted it as i wrote in my previous post here.

Cronichar : How can creating an option for both sides being selfish? if you had read the whole information about this you would understand i'm making option for users pick font style they want. The pool here is just to know what you like or not and where should i aim my next development.
