Why did the 1.24 server patch changed my WC3 menu fonts to another one?
It looks ugly, has a serif, and it's not what came with WC3 originally. It didn't even prompt me if I wanted to have the menu font changed.

Yes, the font is blurry for everyone of us.
Thats a bug from Blizzard, I think.

I'm seriously thinking that it was the eurobattle patch that changed the fonts. After using the Blizzard patch, it runs the game automatically and I didn't notice any weird font, not until I used the Eurobattle patch. So?
it's not blizzard bug because I had 1.24 for a quite some time and I had no problems with font.. now after eurobattle has updated (after using installer) my font screwed up too.
Yep, the xpam patch changed the fonts and yes they're horrible. They're eye-cancer.
Maybe someone can set up a tutorial explaining how to get the old font back?

Deprem, could you contact the one(s) in charge of the patch to certify the change in fonts?

those who've been playing this game for ages and would like to have the old normal font back, like me, would like to see some tutorial explaining how to do it.
I found a way but I am not going to post it here since it would "undo" all the work moon/shakar/other admins have done
