Living leads to death, purpose of living things is to pass life on. Nowadays we got too many distractions (technology etc.) to be actually sure what we suppouse to do in this world. Finding your right path is a good start. In past (like stoneage past), as u said, people had to be usefull or simply die... . There is actually a lot more to it but I am gonna play some Warcraft now and try to stay alive

Has anyone read Mitch Albom's Tuesdays With Morrie? It touches on different aspects of life such as death and relationships with family and friends. Even though we know that we will die one day, hardly any of us (including myself) actually can comprehend that fact and complete the things that matters most. Others would emphasize on "one day" and believe that today will not be the day.

Are we so fearful of death that we dare not acknowledge it? Or is there another underlying reason?

If a man finds a real absolute purpose of life , is there any purpose of living anymore? I think that searching for that absolute purpose is the purpose , even 'tho a man won't find absolute purpose ever. No matter that a man won't find purpose , that is no reason to stop searching for it , because the ones who reached nearest to the real purpose made their life have the most purpose , if you know what I mean... xD

I'd say that we already have purpose in life. My point is, many of us are blind to see it.

but then in the next moment you ask yourself...does my thinking make any sense? Or is it all just some crap my mind have made? (that's what I ask myself most of the time when thinking about this philosophical questions)

Well , you have to have some facts , proofs in order to make an opinion. So as you are thinking about something , you are covering it with proofs to make it valid : d I can explain my previous post with more evidence if you'd like...

That's what I wanted to say. If you get too high, not just our lives but everything seems pointless, senseless or w/e you want to call it.
