Error shuts down warcraft, need help please

Recently, i reformated my computor. Warcraft used to work perfectly for 2 years, i never got any errors and everything went fine. After my reformat, while im playing, halfway through the game, warcraft suddenly closes down, and theres no error whatsoever. this happens every single game.

    Can anyone please help?

Lol, Taz, aren't you the one who has to solve it? j/k

    Well, it happens everyone Fs-kev.

You say that you formated and now isnt working ok. So, I think that it may be some older files that helped "not to crash the game".

So... what patches has been using eurobattle.net in the last 2 years? Maybe Patching the game 1 by one, updating patches... may help?

    Just an idea though

i had vista for 2 years and w3 ran perfectly fine.

now i have win7 and still never had any problems.

probably his graphic card drivers are the reason and not the OS.

ofc, I was more hinting to the error message, sourcing that this usually appears on Vista when it cannot work properly with current drivers - it blames the application (XXX has stopped working)

Well, I formated his pc. And, after I had installed vista, I had to install the drivers from the Acer official site. The drivers werent installed from the dell drivers. Only when you go to My Computer > Properties you will see the Dell logo instead of the Acer. But as I mentioned I did not install the drivers from Dell, but from Acer.

Kev, try to reinstall the driver for the graphic card.

sad thing is, the "newest" drivers do not have to be the best, especially with vista...
