ati driver crash

Hi, i have a problem with playing DotA

sometimes when i play, my pc froze up (3 from 15 games), show me a black screen and fan speed on gfx goes to max (driver shut down).

with ati 1950pro it was ok, problem shows up after upgrade to ati 4850 vapor-x

i am using Vista 64bit and catalyst 9.7

except change of gfx i was forced to upgrade only drivers (but this drivers should be ok, because friend is using them too with same OS and he has no problem - same gfx from another producer without fan speed regulation)

new games are stable, problem only with w3

PS: tried reinstal OS, catalyst 9.5, 9.6 and 9.7

Hi well i have ATI HD 3850 and no problem here did u try other os ?

Disable restarting in options in CCC.

Or

Uninstall catalyst controll center, keep only drivers. Most of problems are connected to CCC only. I had something familiar and uninstalling CCC solved it.

to antimanelistu00: i dont want linux and cracking other version of windows is not the solution
to Mitsuki: i did not find setting of restarting (i remember it was there in times of ati 9600pro ) (used advanced view), so i will try uninstaling CCC, thx for possible solution of my problem

What is the driver version you got ?

to Taz. : latest catalyst (9.7 now) grafic driver version 8.632.0.0 (checkend in propertios of gfx, because i have just uninstaled CCC)

grrrr... today ati driver crashes twice... no crash 6days in row
