Can't open Dota

I have some trouble with Dota. I decided to download it after all this time and when I try to open it it says this exactly:

Dota is a custom map for Warcraft III - The frozen Throne.

Means, if you want to play it/use it, you have to run warcraft III first.

so... I have Warcraft 3 open, but when I try to open Dota it still encounters the same problem

look, bumping is not gonna help, this is not a tech problem, it is just you not understanding how to use custom games in warcraft.
