Hehe i know, thats called underestimating the opponent. If you wanna make good stats, you will have to play everytime like you were facing the best player on the server - yea i know, its boring to go hard on noobs, but it prevents you from pointless loosing (just like you did in this game). Other option is, that you can just have fun and not give a damn about stats :-) just like me - when I see my opponent is a newb I just start making some funny strat like mass aco with dreadlord and obsidians; and yea I dont win everytime, but I have fun, and IMO thats what matters. I get really bored when I play seriously against beginners. :-)
And learn to scout, if you play BM, you need to learn to multitask: BM harrases opponent, follows his army, steals items and experience and otherwise slowing opponents creeping, and the rest of the army is creeping elsewhere (lvling ur secondary hero).
