Operator status on server can be given only on private channels, such as clan channels.

Just a suggestion, NOT a demand: maybe for all who donated, the monthly activation should be skipped. This should be done only if its not such a hard thing to do.

We were already thinking about such option. However, it requires MadMax attention and he's very busy man. Will keep trying, though.
