Question My game exited by itself

    Hello,

So I was playing a Castle Fight game and suddenly in the middle of the game my Warcraft 3 exited by itself, here is a copy/paste of the gproxy log file.

[18-09-2018 01:40:09][GPROXY][LOG_INFO] Local player disconnected with error: ECONNRESET
[18-09-2018 01:40:09][GPROXY][LOG_INFO] Local socket disconnected due to socket error
    [18-09-2018 01:40:09][GPROXY][LOG_INFO] Deleting connection
    [18-09-2018 01:40:09][AMH][LOG_INFO] EXITED
    [18-09-2018 01:40:09][SYSTEM][LOG_INFO] Shutting down
    [18-09-2018 01:40:09][SYSTEM][LOG_INFO] Shutting down winsock
    [18-09-2018 01:40:09][SYSTEM][LOG_INFO] GPROXY EXITING

The problem was that I didn't lose connection but the game exited COMPLETELY by itself, why is that is my question?

    I want to know.

I think it was a crash caused by the map, it happens when there is not enough memory

If game itself crashed it's hard to say.

Just out of curiosity here, what windows are you using? And what's your allocation for VRAM.

Not really because I played Castle Fight games with 3vs3 players, the standard thing with full buildings and units and my game didn't crash, I mean I finished the game with no exit like it happened today.

Windows 10 Pro, according to my computer I have:

Total Available Graphics Memory: 6125 MB
    Dedicated Video Memory: 2048 MB

    Why are you asking?

Because there was an update on Windows 10 that did not parse correctly the VRAM (not RAM you have on board), and it screwed up a few games including steam games. That's why I have asked.

And also it depends on the resolution of screen in correlation with the game. You can try adjusting it to the same values.

About castle fight game, its known that game will cause desync after some time, so to avoid that you have to completely restart your game. Maybe your problem is connected with desync. Also from what I remember sometimes happen to just crush game.

My game resolution is the same with the screen resolution, so that doesn't need to be fixed.

Well I can't restart my game while I am in-game right, I mean when I am in an actual game like Castle Fight.
What is desync btw? What does it mean? What does it do?

My game exited by itself like I did an Alt+F4 that's why I got surprised and I posted the problem here, as far as I remember It never happened before or at least since I returned to eurobattle.net

He meant to say to restart w3 after every game, not mid-game obviously. If I remember correctly, the error rate increases the longer you play. Could be a memory leak or something along those lines.

You can get rid of it (at least works for me now) by doing this:

    Start - > Run -> CMD

    Ipconfig /flushdns
    Ipconfig /release
    Ipconfig /renew

Restart computer, should be fixed. Also this might lower your ping a little.

Okay so from now on I'm gonna restart w3 after every game and load it again so things like this cannot happen again.

Thanks to everyone who replied and posted their opinions on this matter.

    Thank you.

Let us know if this helps. It is just a rumor or some loosely based evidence gathered over the years but it could be true.

You don't need to do it after every game, play 2-3 games and restart game, if you play a lot. Don't take it literally, its advise which should help you.

I believe how something is not ok with your windows. I never saw such problem to happen often.
