does eurobattle.net even gain anything from updating to the latest patch? as far as i know many players left eurobattle.net last time the patch + client got updated because they are not capable of updating the game.

Your excuse for not updating does not make sense. Because I see many players who update the game and still are interested in the improved performance of the patch.
Note: It's not everyone who stops playing just because of an update.

No, we don't really gain much because these patches don't really bring a lot of new stuff. It mostly causes problems when people play on official or some other servers and need to have 2 different versions so it's always a good idea to update.
