1.27a enabled on beta server, testers needed!!

We have enabled W3 1.27a on a test server. We want to test if everything works as expected before we switch our main server.
The testing will last for a week, if everything works ok we will switch the main server to 1.27a as soon as possible.


Installation instructions:
1. Patch your w3 to 1.27a either with:
-connect to official blizzard server
-manual patch [url]http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/war3x/patches/pc/War3TFT_127a_English.exe[/url]
-Use version switcher [url]http://www.dota-utilities.com/2016/03/warcraft3-tft-1.27a-patch-version-switcher.html[/url]

I recommend you make a copy of your W3 folder so you still have 1.26a installed at the same time.

2. Install Visual C++ Redistributable 2015 x86 [url]http://warden.eurobattle.net/downloads/file/20[/url]

3. Install special beta installer (this one will only work for test server) [url]http://files.eurobattle.net/installer/installer_v6_beta.zip[/url]

4. Join as usual via gproxy gateway (normal gateway probably won't work unless you change eurobattle.net gateway IP in regedit to xpam.pl)

5. Since beta server does not have a page to activate your account, use one of the already created accounts: test1-test19 with password 123456
Channel ro has a guard and hostbot for testing (!priv, !pub, !map+!gopub etc).
You can create your own account on bnet login screen but you will have to request activation by posting in this topic, I have to do it manually.

I suggest we meet on Saturday April 2nd after 23:00 CET (after EL classico) to try and play a test game together. I will be waiting in channel ro. 9 other people needed.


Suspected breakage in 1.27a so far:
-some reports show that gproxy reconnect time might be lowered (w3 discs much sooner), we must test whether this is true or not by discing for 2+ minutes and then reconnecting to see if it still works normally.
-check if bot saved replays are saved with correct version and try to open them in w3

If you read my post carefully you would be less pissed.

You can create your own account on bnet login screen but you will have to request activation by posting in this topic, I have to do it manually.

You open the Battle.net gateways key and change value of one of the existing gateways, ex:

xpam.pl
-1
Northrend (Europe)

then you choose Northrend when connecting and it will go to xpam.pl
