Ok guys so Im facing this problem since I bought a new Ati graphic card, you see the problem is whenever i run game in lobby i can see the screen flickers every 3-5 seconds and its very annoying. So I went to see for myself if I can dig out any solutions over forums on the internet and believe me I've tried everything. After a long search and using various options that gave me only failure i found a solution on the flickering problem.
You see the I solved the problem by making a shortcut from my frozenthrone.exe and on that shortcut properties i made an extension in the target field and the extension is -opengl so it was something like
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Warcraft III\Frozen Throne.exe" -opengl" and after I run the shortcut that was it!!
The flickering was gone and warcraft was running smooth and perfect! (although its a very old game nowadays with new pc software and hardware unfortunately old and popular games are facing various problems, yes we all know that).
Ok so I found a solution for flickering but now I cannot find a solution how to run gproxy from that very shortcut where i was able to put -opengl on target, but proxy is running from the very warcraft.exe file which doesnt have editable target properties like banal .exe shortcut If u see and understand what I mean can u help somehow, or atleast find a solution for this in near future so other people with same problem won't have any issues.
