Hi there
My roomate noticed I'm playing dota for quite some time and he wanted to give it a try, now he has never played this game and knows absolutley nothing about it.
So I'm interested in what is the best way for total begginers like him to start, where to play etc. I really can't think of a game he can join...

He should join pub AP NOOBS NO TR games. After 20 games being flamed to death, called a retard and noob he will become a seasoned pro and possibly ss material. Obligatory Spectra/Viper picks.
This first stage is always the hardest but if he can't survive it, DotA simply isn't for him and should go back to solitaire.

He could also apply for SS without any replays and lie about paying on IHRL and RDL in the past. Since the skill level between noobs and SS is not that much different, nobody will notice anyway.

e ye, how can I play ai maps via some bot online, so I can play with him and guide him a bit
