What is Regedit?

It's a program. Start->Run->Regedit on windows XP or simply search for it on newer WIndows.

Does newinstaller.exe exist in either folder from the log?

i also get that cant update
i downloaded the latest installer from site so it works but I guess i can have problems in future
did anyone fix this?
