1.26a+gproxy BUG HUNT

Please, report ALL bugs or any info you find relevant here.

1. Cannot join custom games, but the installation gave no errors and I can join eurobattle.net without problems.
-- this usually happens when you have an old conflicting version of Gproxy. Check if you can join games while using the "Eurobattle" gateway. If yes, you should remove all traces of gproxy from your computer, then reinstall the loader to ensure proper functionality.

2. Wine on ubuntu distribution produces "failed to create output error"
Just run patch of blizzard and replace file w3lh.dll with this one from here: [URL]http://stefos007.no-ip.org/update/w3lh.dll[/URL] (file is in w3 folder)
Also if you want join with gproxy download this: [URL]http://stefos007.no-ip.org/update/gproxy-linux-deb.zip[/URL]
It don't support sounds but it work.

3. Failed to create process - Hstart gproxy.exe
Download and install Frameworks:

if error still appears, download and install:

4. Replay files not viewable (community dota leagues)
this one is mostly my fail, I set the ghosts for an incorrect replay build number. Anyone interested, it is as follows:
replay_war3version = 26
replay_buildnumber = 6059

I can´t choose the GProxy-Gateway. This is what i made...

1. Installed Patch 1.26a -> works
2. Installed setup_1.26a.rar -> works
3. I logged in Battlenet -> works

But if i wan´t to choose the GProxy, it isn´t in the list!?

How can i add it?
What went wrong?

the Gproxy entry is added as an entry to the registry of Windows - this means something must have prevented this. Limited access rights?

when i start euroloader it starts gproxy and kills after it so i m not connecting to eurobattle.net with gproxy
but i disabled the "taskkill /F /IM gproxy.exe /T" command in gproxy.bat file
than i entered to eurobattle.net with gproxy (eurobattle.net -gproxy gateway)
but if i quit warcraft 3 and run again euroloader it runs another gproxy
you putted that taskkill command for that but it doesnt run like you think
i dont know anybody has that problem like me
im using windows xp btw

and that "Could not find script E:\Warcraft III\eurobattle.txt" error
dont press the "finish" button immediately after installation completed wait a bit to run script
after it edited the warcraft mpq file you can press the finish button

After i patched well all i cant join the server with gproxy only without it works :/ "Unable to join ..." on gproxy eurobattle net gateway ... i have firewall off and with exepctions habe w3 gproxy euroloader etc and dont work ... PLS HELP ME ?

Now windows (and some other firewalls) can be tricky. Remember that they are a bit clever in the protection, so when an application changes (like you install a new update), they block it (because they do not know who or how changed it, might be a virus). You may want to re-create the rules for war3.exe euroloader.exe, ghost.exe and gproxy.exe in your firewall.

when i switch to only eurobattle.net i can joi to eubattle
why??

what ghost? I got w3/ euroloader/ gproxy allowed, but I still can't connect via gproxy gateway, the normal eurobattle gateway works smoothly, the weird thing is that when I check the task manager it seems that gproxy is active when I'm in game.

EDIT: OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH my lordddd , ok problem solved, my UBER antivirus "AVG free edition" was blocking the gproxy but because it's so UBER it didn't show the alert window till I 2xclicked the AVG icon to check it myself... I'm using windows firewall and I never thought my UBER AVG firewall was causing the problem (yes 2 firewalls... BEWARE HACKERS). Sry for the extra post

... Unable to connect is caused in 90% of the time by firewalls.. ppl just don't know how to make the allow rule or shut down firewall correctly.

I could normally host before this patch.
Now I can't, also when using gproxy I can't even create custome game.
Ports and firewall are all set like it should be (I did it again to be sure) and it still doesn't work.
