Hello everyone. We would like to reveal our plans for 2012 and also hear your suggestions what would you like us to do around the server.
Web and server systems
1. Create a single player profile that will combine dota stats from all official leagues. For each league you play in you will see stats on a single page. You will be able to login into this profile with your server account and password . Live signatures will be turned into a tool that you can use after you login. We will add achievement system-you will earn new achievements on your profile by doing varius tasks (win 5 games in a row, have X/Y KD ratio and stuff like this). Each achievement will also give you a specific icon on server.
2. New gproxy AMH implementation which we are testing right now. Our first protection was broken in a few months but this time we really went deep into this problem.
3. Client-launcher with integrated gproxy. Client will also take care of updates, it will have in-built chat client like osiris/topaz, and other stuff.
This is clearly a lot of work altho some of these is already near finished. Especially the lack of coding support is the reason why all the new stuff takes so long to be released.
And now to the part where we need your help.
We would like to turn eurobattle.net into something more than just W3 pvpgn server. We have several servers running which we only use for hostbots so why not use them for something else too.
We are thinking to open servers for different games than W3. Things like Cod4, TF2, Minecraft, CS etc..
What we don't know is which games are being played by our player base. There must be enough interest from your side to start hosting another game because it's a waste of time to host something which nobody will use.
