I could host on my other laptop, but cannot do so on this
Hello everybody. I bought a new laptop yesterday. On my previous laptop I could host after portforwarding and adding rules to allow w3, euroloader and ghost into Windows Firewall. On this laptop, however, I cannot host anymore.
I added rules into Windows Firewall and then realised that it is not even turned on. It says that "These settings are being managed by a vendor application Norton Internet Security". Therefore I tried to add exceptions into Norton Internet Security. I did add exceptions where I could but it is kind of a maze in there because there are different categories within Norton and I didn't know where to add the exceptions. So I wherever I saw I could add exceptions, I did for: War3.exe, Euroloader, GProxy and GhostOne.
Even after all that it does not work. Not for me manually hosting or hosting with my bot. (Note: For GhostOne I just copied the ghost.cfg from my previous laptop.)
So then I tried turning off Norton, but I couldn't turn the program off completely. Just disable it while it is running, but I don't know if it was disabled completely.
So all in all, I could host on the previous laptop and I cannot on this one. And this new one is using Norton Internet Security instead of Windows Firewall.
I added a screenshot of my Norton. It is version 18.7.0.13.
All the help is appreciated, thank you!
EDIT: I forgot to mention that I configured the TCP/IP of the network connection so that I would have a static IP. I did this on my previous laptop as well. Also, just now I found the option to add port exceptions into Norton, but that didn't let me host either.

MusicDemon, I am not sure if you have seen my added information using Edit, but in it I said that I added port exceptions into Norton. Maybe I was just not clear enough, sorry.
Did you portforward your router to the ip of your new pc?
And yes just double check it cause that always happens even to me.
already playing on my 6th xbox 360
This made my day :')
Please don't reply to this thread anymore if you do not know that there's a difference between a hardware cursor and a softare cursor, niceone. It might cause a mess.

You know.. that might just be it. Thanks alot man. Gonna try it now!
GG... That did it.
Thanks alot. Funny how such a simple thing was the issue.
Thank you everyone for your help and those too who checked and thought on the issue but nothing came to mind.
This can be closed now.
So in the end the fix was: Portforward on the new IP. The old portforward WILL NOT WORK if new pc has different IP (most likely will).
