Last pick is much better if u ask me since your opponent can't counter that hero.

In dota2 most top teams prefer to have first pick.

you pick hard carry, give it to fika, and gg, opponent outpicked

Its better to have first pick since you can take DK for Fika that is impossible to counter anyhow.
