What games have you been playing?

Just launching a thread to see what you have been playing recently/lately, besides Warcraft 3 maps ...
For those who don't know what to play, it could be inspiring

I suggest you define 5 games that have been taking some of your precious time. Post some screenshots of each game so you can have an impression what's it like.

These are mine (in random order):
Team Fortress 2: A free to play FPS shooter with a cartoony look and feel from Valve.
(coop team multiplayer included)
Screenshot of me "commanding" the troops

Shogun Total War 2: A strategic game in which you control vast armies and try to conquer a huge map.
(single player, coop multiplayer included)

Men of War - Assault Squad: An RTS in which you control an army of World War 2 units, trying to conquer a map. (single player, coop multiplayer included)

911 Emergency - LA mod
:
Manage police, ambulances, and the fire department to try to cope with disaster city.
(single player, coop multiplayer included, looking for players )

Mass Effect 1 & 2:
A tactical shooter with a great story, in which you can make several decisions. These decisions have its effect on each sequel of the game.
I've finished these games several times but I wanted to create several chars with different decisions. Mass Effect 3 is released next year so...
(singe player)

Let me know what you think, and post what you've been playing!

Youtube tag doesn't seem to work, so I'll just post the links:

- Terraria (fan trailer): discover & reshape 2D worlds. Video's a little too glamorous for what it is, but it's strangely addictive . Multiplayer is present but can be a bit of a hassle (joining by ip address).

- UT 2004: UT has been one of my favourite shooters for a decade or so, but I've been playing it a lot less than usual... (because of Terraria )

These are my stats for about the last 600 hours of gameplay. I play Instagib CTF almost exclusively. 1 shot, 1 kill!

- Eve Online (Incarnia trailer): sci-fi space MMORPG which has all players (about 40000 to 50000 at any time) online in the same world, as opposed to WoW. Been playing this on and off since 2009. It's a huge sandbox in which you'll need to set your own goals. Also, no skill grinding is involved.

Eve is said to have a very steep learning curve, but it's become a lot more friendly toward new players in these last few years. It's a subscription based game but it allows you to buy game time with in-game currency - which I've been doing for half a year now. Free 21-day trials available from me... and I can provide one person with 51 days of gametime without trial restrictions if he/she is really interested .

- Team Fortress 2 with Grim
- 911: First responders + LA Mod with Grim (looking for players!)

And also:
- Sins of a Solar Empire Entrenchment + Sacrifice of Angels Mod with Grim
- Anno 1404 Venice, with Grim (looking for players)
- Men of War: Assault Squad (guess with whom I played this )
- last and least, a tiny bit of warcraft III (various custom maps)

Thanks Akhetaton!

I bet it would've gotten a few replies if it was posted in the N0TD forum though . Ah well...

VanGogh, well, the N0TD community on this server has mostly died out now. But 2005... those were the days . We had 75 people in the clan (divided in two) and notd games going most of the time.
Little bit of history here.

Not too long ago we had a reunion where a few of our oldies showed up .

Yeah, it was great .

I think there was still some activity until late 2009.

As for now, a few of us have irl stuff going on and don't have much time left for games.
Some have moved on to other games or maps (there are soms WoW and dota addicts out there).
Some still play notd on bnet, other servers, garena, starcraft 2, etc... .
One has been developing his own game, with a few notd elements in it: The Red Solstice.

As for me, I've mostly moved on to other games, though I've been known to join an notd game once in a while, if I find one . As are others... (looking at you nxuan )

Aww... wishful thinking on my part then . You did once say you joined notd games without loading to spy on me .

Hell, it has been a while since I last visited bloody xpam's forums. Especially after the hacking of my previous hotmail adress... Oh well, here we go!

World of Warcraft: Um, does it really need any description? And yes, yes, yes, I happen to be a victim of the diesease - currently running HC Firelands

League of Legends - Stand-alone DotA is the best description possible: 2 teams, 3 lines, destroy the enemy base. My clannies showed me LoL and suprisingly, as I was known to be one of the greatest DotA haters, I liked it. What is more! I could even be called... quite a decent player.

Portal 1&2 - You are Chell, a test subject kept captive within Aperature Science's laboratories and forced to run test made of logic puzzles by (as we find out later on) a psychotic supercomputer and the only thing in your possession is a portal making device. The tiny game added to The Orange Box had bought me in no time and became my most beloved game. After the release of Portal 2 I bought it as soon as I could, had single player finished in 2 nights and... I have no one to play co-op with: everybody I know have either passed MP several times (and it's no fun being carried) or have an illegal version.

L4D2 - An online survival FPS. Players are distributed into 2 4-man teams: Survivors or Infected. The goal of the former ones is to survive throughout the campaign, the latter... well - Braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaains would describe it quite well. Basically, it was in Steam's bargain some time ago, so took the opportunity and bought it for... 5 euros?
