    Apparently you can't just install an old euroloader. You need the latest executables. So you either need to install everything in a windows computer and copy it to your Ubuntu box, or you need to do the same in a virtual machine. (Or you can find someone who will send you the latest euroloader executables).

    Uhuu...I made copy from my virtual box with windows ( in the virtual box the war3 doesnt work good, idk why), and running by: .../Warcraft III wine euroloader.exe.
    And it work good, the game open well, but when i put my username and password, the msg comes: "active your account in www.eurobattle.net".
    What i need to do?

    @kingbahamut:
    You just need to use VirtualBox to install War3. After that you just need to copy your installation to your wine prefix and it will run fine.
    And yes, kingofW3 is right, you must activate your account to play.

    It's more like a work around rather than a real solution, but yes, it is more likely to help someone else with the extra visibility.
    Since the thread now has some more visibility, once again:
    If any of the euroloader devs read this, I am more then willing to do linux testing for your next euroloader version.

    It is rather important to make it work without the need of installing Window$...

    This is a wine bug and it's being worked on!
    It should be working pretty soon now, since the final patch is almost ready.
    Good job to the wine team. =-)
