Try running eurobattle.reg in your w3 map.
Then use the euroloader to start the game.

Still same thing. (I tryed it be4) any more suggestion (except reinstallation)

I had that problem these days... couldnt connect with same error... tryed a lot of things but nothing helped... I reinstalled w3/ft 5 mins ago and patched it again and finnaly i did it...
