Vouch Request template and Informations
EDL skill requirements:
-Basic knowledge of each and every hero role (support, gank, initiator, carry, etc). That means we need you to know a working skill and item build.
-Teamwork, map awarness. We want you to be playing having in mind the team, not yourself. We expect you to TP around the map and help allies in potential team fights, ward around when playing a support, buying courrier and upgrading it when you are asked to. You are also obliged to follow the captain's instructions in every game.
-Decent last hitting. We expect you to farm fast and effectively when playing a carry.
-Lane control. We expect you to harass while avoiding silly actions.
How should my vouch request look like?
--your answer--1) Some basic information about yourself, including name, nickname, nationality, age.
--your answer--2) How did you find out about EDL? Why do you wish to get approved in the league? Do you know anyone from EDL? If yes, list a few names.
--your answer--3) Write, summarily, a text that could describe your past DotA experience. (when did you start playing, where have you been mostly playing since then etc)
--your answer--4) Describe in a few words, honestly, what are your temper and manners like.
--your answer--5) Your own evaluation of your DotA related skills. Which hero roles are you able to play? What is the role you enjoy most?
--your answer--6) Where, more exactly in which point of view, do you think you need improvements?
--your answer--7) Have you posted a vouch request before? If you have, and you are able to, add a link to it.
--your answer--8) Replay which satisfies all above-noted requirements or if you wish to apply for a test game. - (Keep in mind that if you decide to post a replay, it has to be from a private game, clan war, fun war, any inhouse league). I have posted my vouch request, now what?
You will receive an answer within a few days if you have added a replay. or a few hours after the test game takes place, if you signed for one. If you got denied there will always be a reason stated. Consider why you got denied, try to improve yourself in that aspect and reapply whenever you wish to (as long as your deny period has expired).
Some last notes:
-Choose the replay over the test game if you are able to. It is easier for both us and you.
-You are not allowed to post a vouch request using a friend's forum account anymore. Also, if you have posted a vouch request using another name before, you are obliged to mention it.
-Do not whisper or pm vouchers asking for a vouch. Whatever you have to say, should be posted in that section.
-Quotes can be added by writing this simple code: [*QUOTE] blabla [/*QUOTE] (without the *).
-Vouch requests posted following the old standards will get deleted.
-After you have been accepted you will have a 'trial' info added. In order for it to get removed, you have to play an amount of games to prove your worth to EDL vouchers. If you fail to do so you will get unvouched.
