Ok, I will comment one thing. Normally I consider it to be a minor inconvenience or not an inconvenience at all.

It's about player colour.

I normally don't mind if I'm white or black figures. But some players mind. Each has it's pros and cons. Not to go into that... read about chess rules and strategies on google...

Furthermore... I think the tour moderator (cen) should decide which player will be what colour FIRST in a duel. Rolling for color is nice in theory, but sux in practice. Why? Who rolls? Are we going to roll for rolls? I roll and I'm white, the other player rolls at the same time and he's white too... and we instantly have an arguement.

Cen should decide for example;

tbk.goldy vs
player1

goldy is white player the FIRST game (if bo3, if bo1 then cen chooses which colour is which player. i'm sorry but if you think you lost a game cuz you played black, you are noob in chess anyhow), the second game goldy is black, the third goldy white again.

tbk.goldy wins

next round. goldy is black first, then white then black.

Get me?

Since i see there are 16 players, i guess bo3 from the start, and hopefully more active players will apply.

Some good points there.

I don't think declaring who is black/white from my side is any better than the current system, since I would use random script to determine that, which is practically the same thing as inside the map.

I guess I will restrict -roll usage to Player 1(host) and only declare which of the players will HOST the game.
Players should really argue about who types the roll command, since you have the same chance whoever does it. But ok, it's "psihological" problem.

About bo3 and colors-10x for that suggestion, it's fair to switch the colors in game 2 and 3. Will add to the rules.

About transfering the color order into next rounds-won't work, because 2 with the same system can go forward and we have a conflict. I'll just repeat step 1.

About bo3-yes, it's for whole tour and I've increased time to 20 min for better games.

Ok, I decided to avoid ineracting with players. The map will roll by itself and tell the colors after few seconds of game time. Nobody can argue this way.

and where did u read that u can register?
U have 1 post and u seem to be never online anymore with forum acc and will be off probably on server 2 months. Like 50% players at first tour.
They registered with words like: "i kill you all and you will cry" and didnt show up during whole tour.

btw cen cool u made simple spider not some faken groups .

Rule changes:
1.

New map version, no need to rename anything now because I added in .zip

2.

1) After 4 seconds of the game time, map will display player colors for all 3 games. You can recall the text by typing -roll.
Players switch the positions if needed (by pressing ESC menu->Resign->Take over white/black).

Replay won't be enabled for download. Unless I fugure out how to parse it...

4) If players can't play all 3 chess games in the same hosted game, THEY DECLARE THE WINNER IN THE LAST GAME PLAYED.
So, if you first play 2 games and after few hours/days the third game, you do not declare winners at game 1 and 2, but at game 3.
5) If anything goes wrong at declaring, or if you need to repeat the game for some reason, contact cen.

You do not have to ?load the map, it's auto-loaded

2) One of the players hosts the game with "?priv hostname" command. --->Host should use his name in the game name, or at least something similar to his name, so we can easily find your replays. Better than searching by date.

If there is anything else, speak now. If everything is ok, I'll open registrations tomorrow.

Ya, simple spider...groups would be ok, but it didn't work out because I forgot about the same points issue. This is the best way I guess.

cen can you explain me the rule 2 again? my question is: we will play a Bo3 right? so.. the player color will change in each round, am i right?

Yes. Player color changes each game in bo3.

Map says like this: Player _Orion^ is->Game 1: White; Game 2: Black; Game 3: White; etc

or vice versa ofc..
