GHost One Dosen't start.
I will try to give you maximum information.
Ok let's start from beginning. I am using windows 7 64bit and I am playing at http://eurobattle.net/index.php using 1.24E patch. I've download Ghost one from here
http://www.codelain.com/forum/index.php?topic=11643.0
This is the version "Download with installer (without source - 1.7.265)"
---------------------------------------------------
I am using this settings:
Main Configuration:
Server - server.eurobattle.net
Bot Username -***** (I've registered second account for bot)
Bot Password - *****
Channel - Albania
Root Admin - **** (my nick)
War3_verison - 24
Bnet_custom_version - 243 4 24 1
Bnet_custom_exeverisonhash - 197 67 68 222
Bnet_custom_passwordhashtype - pvpgn
lan_war3version - 24
On page 6:
bot_hostport - 6113
admingame_port 6114
On page 4 for Mysql I haven't changed anything.
--------------------------------------------------
I am using router: Linksys WRT54G/GL/GS
I've portforwarded on page Nat/QOS -> Port Range Forwarding
Application Start End Protocol Ip address
Name - 1 6112 6119 Both 192.168.1.10 (mine)
Without bot after I've made the portforward I am hosting games without problem.
-----------------------------------------------------
Problems:
When I start GhostOne.exe I get two error messages.
First is:
"Cannot create file C:\Program files(x86)\GhostOne\Updater. exe access is denied"
Second is:
Ports are in use, change them and restart.
And when I press Run GHost nothing happens(exept the button can't be pressed again and I can press Stop GHost (like it is working)) and when I enter warcraft3 my Bot is not working.
And when I run ghost.exe I am getting the cmd menu with lots of info inside. But there are lines like
Map] Invalid map_numteams detected
Map] Invalid map_slot<x> detected
Map] Invalid etc.
Map] Invalid etc.
Map] Invalid etc.
I've set the WC3 and WC3/maps paths.
And now it even crashes when I run ghost.exe
It think that is what I can explain I hope you can help me with my problem because I've tried other versions of GHostOne, Ghost++ and nothing is working...

are you running it with admin rights?
-
There are 2 accounts in my computer one which is the hidden admin account which I've unhidde and the one which I use after I installed my Windows which have admin rights.
-
right.
So, I did not really understand if you do run it with admin rights, or not. Just thinking that the account has admin rights does not really work with Windows 7 :) so try it once with right clicking on it and choose run with admin rights.
Secondly, did you open the ports for the ghost in your firewall? Again, this option is quite well hidden in Windows 7, try to google it.
EDIT: btw nice, I see you posted on codelain too :)

I think the guy above me means that you have to try.
Right click -> Run as Administrator on the file.
-
I am not using The windows firewall just Norton Antivirus I will disable it now and run with admin rights the GHost One. And I will say what happened.
THANK YOU :))) The key was in running it with admin rights :)
