There Are Two Ways To Mount Bow Window

  1. You must have enough unobstructed depth at the top of your window for mounting hardware. *Please see chart (below) listing the minimum depth and flush mount depth required for each product in the catalog.
  2. The manufacturer will take an allowance off the width (approx. 1/4" to 1/2") to allow for proper operation.
  3. **On vertical blinds, 1/2" will be deducted off length.

Helpful Hint: Products generally mounted inside are Honeycombs, Mini-Blinds, Wood Blinds, Pleated Shades, Skylights and Arches.
  1. The manufacturer will not subtract or add anything to your dimensions. Your blind will be made at the exact size you order.
  2. When mounting to a wood frame, you must have at least 1/2" of flat surface for mounting hardware.
  3. When mounting to the wall, you must add the height of the mounting bracket and add to the width for the proper overlap.

For example: Vertical blinds mounted outside add 2" to 4" to each side. Add a minimum of 1 1/2" to height for brackets and add your desired length below frame or opening. If measuring to the floor, deduct 1/2" clearance on bottom.
Helpful Hint: Products generally mounted outside are Vertical Blinds, Woven Wood Drapes, Vertiglide*, Draperies, Toppers and Cornices.
