Unable to initiate connection to BN

Hello,
I have installed the game and followed all the steps required for playing
(installed W3,W3:TFT,patch 1.23,Server installer,EBN.net.reg)
and still, I can't connect.

"unable to connect battle.net" just pop out after 30secs or so.

I am gonna check for if my IP is banned, but.. any other ideas?

Make sure when u run xpam installer to specify your w3 directory if it aint default (c:/program files/warcraft III/).
If u use default, then go to your w3 folder find file eurobattle.reg, double click, say yes, and you should be in the game. And 1 more thing, DONT use cracks, if u did, unninstall, reinstall, apply patch, run xpam installer...

thanks. Sure I was running it from the right directory.. but then I was registrating it by eurobattle.net.reg .. not by eurobattle.reg

Yep, it works.

Since we are in discussion I am gonna ask another question.
We are on the LAN with friends and when I host a game, they can't join. another ppl from BN can.
But when we connect into another game alltogether, it's ok.
Does that have anything to do with "ghost++"? (didn't check that program yet)

Yes problem is in lan, try changing your ip-s in network adapter, so all be different: 192.168.1, 192.168.2, 192.168.1.3 .......
