Main trick vs elves is massing ghouls at the very beggining, this way you're going to disable DH.

In late game, ud imbalance (heroes/units) will win the game alone.

ahaha mighty law in trouble... so sad... ok, this is what i do (might seem unorthodox, but i play the game my style, i dont care about other ppl's styles or "general" styles, im not pro after all).. I start with DK ghouls, when DH comes to harras i try to dump my coils on to him b4 he burns me, trying to protect my ghouls and yet trying to damage him as more possible. On the other hand if he has immolate, run like hell, hide in base until fiends or gargs come. 50%+ elf players will take panda second, there you can go 2 ways ; either mass gargs with stone form, or go temple with a few banshees with shell, continue pushing fiends +abo. If he goes mass bears , you go mass abos, 2x slaughter, mby 1 wyrm, if he goes mass dryads, go mass abos with disease, + 2 wagons. Hero selection? Dark ranger might be helpfull with silence, but my favorite choice vs demonhunter is firelord, and his first soul burn, where you incapacitate naga's arrows, or dh's burn, or pandas breath. Make destro to absorb the rejuvenation. On open space, some necros will help defeat the elf army, since wisps are far away to dispell. I've used to abuse dreadlord on dh or panda, using sleep prevents staff usage or skill usage. If elf goes mass talons, make destro + wagons = talons dead.
I would post some replays, but they got stuck on another comp, which is not in my vicinity..so f_uckit.
