Does host bot work and how does it work?

Hello, I am a new member here on the forums, I have been playing for a bit on Eurobattle.net though. Anyways, I vaguely remember there being a host bot, and since there is no way for any of my friends or me to host, I am asking if there's still a host bot or if I can host via 3rd party. All help is much appreciated, thanks.

There is lagabuse.com public hosting bot: http://dota.eurobattle.net/la/forum/index.php?topic=40.0

Usually people play dota there but its possible to host pretty much any 1.28.5 compatible map.

That works great, we just played a few games. But, how is it compatible with any map? There's a map list there, so we'll have to request the maps or is there another way? Thank you in advance.

Only maps from the maplist are available for hosting but you can request new maps to be added there in this topic: http://dota.eurobattle.net/la/forum/index.php?topic=177572.0

By compatibility i meant that a few maps can't be hosted by the bot, for example some versions of castle fight. Also its not possible to add maps which are too big
