Hey guys,

I used to play here a long time ago, but Dota 2 has taken your place. Now I want to play here again, experience some of the heroes that are not yet in Dota 2 =)

Fresh install of WC3. Followed guide installing 1.26 patch and installing euroloader patch.

Run Gproxy and then run euroloader. Log in succesfully but as soon as I join a game after 5 seconds I'm kicked. I get the following error in Gproxy.

[Gproxy]initiating the two way connection
[Gproxy]connection marked as BNFTP
[Gproxy]Remote socket connected with [188.165.23.200]
[Gproxy]local player connected
[Gproxy]locla player requested game name [AREM NOOBS +1 NO TR]
[Gproxy]connected to remote server
[Gproxy]join request accepted by remote server
[Gproxy]detected reliable game, starting GPS handshake
[Gproxy]handshake complete, discnnect protection ready <360 seconds>
[TCPSocket] closed by remote host
[Gproxy] Local socket disconnected
[Gproxy] Deleting connection

or what I also got after fiddling around

[Gproxy]closed by remote host

[Gproxy]disconnected from remote server

Latest error (closed by remote host, disconnected from remote server) is the error I now get.

Checked if I'm banned on lagabuse, not the case (http://lagabuse.com/stats/player/1/sgtwaffles)

Tried changing my WC3 port from 6112 to 6114. I initially let it sit on 6112 because Gproxy says ''listening on port 6112 for Warcraft 3 games". Doesn't seem to matter which port though, always kicks me.

Forwarded 6111-6119 UDP/TCP on my router. I did not create specific firewall rules for Gproxy or euroloader, is this necessary? Inbound/outbound TCP/UDP?

Another thing: GProxy does not shut itself down immediately, but if I don't do anything for a few minutes it shuts itself down. If I have WC3 running but just sit in main menu Gproxy becomes unresponsive after a 2 min, like it checks if something is happening and if not, it shuts down. If I close wc3 after not doing anything it immediately shuts down. I ran W3Fixer, doesn't seem to influence it at all.

Gproxy came with euroloader, version v1.5.2 by stefos007.

What can I do to fix this? Sorry if the fix is obvious/I did something stupid. I'm not too smart with computers.

Thank you for your help in advance!

Ah I assumed the Gproxy that came with installer guide was good to go =) So I thought that guide was only for people who had already used the installer and needed to update.

Can I install this over the old one?

Thanks a lot for your help.

edit: and thanks =) I tried to include everything, sometimes my posts get too long then though ;D

I'm still being kicked but this time Gproxy does not display any error whatsoever. It's version 1.7.3

What worries me is that now it says:
[UDPSOCKET] using broadcast target [127.0.0.1]

It doesn't connect to the server anymore?

It does *not* say this anymore;
[Gproxy]initiating the two way connection
[Gproxy]connection marked as BNFTP
[Gproxy]Remote socket connected with [188.165.23.200]

Don't see this.

you have latest dota map version ?

DotA v6.77c

This is my version.

I'm not kicked from other modes (tried Vampirism and LegionTD, downloaded map, stayed in game).

When I use not euroloader but regular frozen throne icon I do get 'connect to server some.ip.' etc in gproxy, not when I use euroloader.

look , to connect to our server Launch Gproxy then Euroloader.exe , not frozen throne.exe

Read carefully what I said =) I said I use euroloader usually. It doesn't work and Gproxy displays nothing.

I tried frozen throne icon as a *test* to see if something would be different, and it is, when I use frozen throne it at least says connecting to IP.

When I use Euroloader it doesn't do anything anymore.

Once again I mention what might be an important line in the Gproxy log.

[UDPSOCKET] using broadcast target [127.0.0.1]

Ye =)

I'm going to do a fresh install.

Thanks for the offer cenarius21 ! Going to try and reinstall before I start bothering other people more =)

It works now. I triple checked all my settings before uninstall, so I'm 99% sure they're the same as before.

Don't know what caused it? Guess a good reinstall will do that.
