(HELP) problem with joining games

i saw few threads with same problem but i didn`t get any solutions that solve my problem.

i didn`t played dota for a few days, and 2 days ago: opened gproxy, logged on battle.net went on games list and when i tried to join on any of them it turns me back to the battle.net welcome screen (channel, enter chat etc.)

i`ve got the latest map, checked firewall, created new account, i`ve restarted my pc, smoked 20 cigarettes and.. nothing changed.


any help, please?

friend mybe u have some of next problems:

1. u v downloaded map with google chrome (there is some bug map is 4 mb instead of 7mb when you download it with chrome) try to download it with some other browser
2. you w downloaded map but in wrong folder, your map shoud be in warcraft/maps/downloads (try to copy it there or just copy into all subfolders in maps)

I m 100% sure 1 of this 2 will fix your problem.

i had the joining problem before to get the new map. i saw in 1 thread 1 guy that had same problem from the map reason, then i downloaded the map and copied in all the map folders & subfolders. still got the problem..

i dl the map with mozilla firefox.

Well you r not playing on playdota.eu bots.

It happen to one of my friends that he played on iccup couple of games and after that he was not able to enter at any game in lobby (on bnet) cause gproxy was screwd somehow.

I v recommended him to reinstall gproxy/installer again and that helpd him, try to do tht.

btw download installer from here if you dont have new one:

gproxy is cored inside that installer so you dont have to start it manually, just download installer into w3 folder and run it from there.

Notice: When installer comes to the exit screen, don't press Finish right after, wait for the icons script to sho up and do it's job.

still no change.. i already did that with the latest installer before u to post about it. now i did that again and nothing. meanwhile i played on a MrX game, but on PD still not working.

Most of the official leagues will have latest GProxy version as a must in very near future. If you won't have the latest version, the bot will kick you out of the game.

2. could i be IP banned? can this be the problem? how can i check this?

pd doesn't support this yet.. if you have problems with their games only maybe you should go and ask on their forums

feeling so damn good.. had a free day from work and spent it by trying to play 1 damn match.

Try to look in your spam folder for their activation.

Btw I dont know but I m not 100% that you have been ip banned from there cause they simply does not ban ppl on their ip.

You need to unblock them if your firewall is blocking them.

i uninstalled the game and now i`m reinstalling it step by step. i hope this will solve my problem :)

shak1 if you are using yahoo for mail-ing,then just create a gmail one.Sometimes on yahoo you dont get the activation mails.

i finally received the email confirmation for my account. now i`m just trying to reinstall all the patches :)

i`ve got some errors during my installation.
can someone post in order what i have to download and install please? eventually with links?

i`ve found some tutorials with "how to.." but i don`t know which one should i follow, they`re too many and most of the links are expired and perhaps are not up-to-date.

please?!?!

i finally reused to install all the sh*s but when i`m starting the euroloader to play, it gave me a new error: Couldn`t open Game.dll.

i`m so f*cking tired..
