Linux users

1. Patch your game to 1.26a
2. Place this file (http://dotabot.net/uploads/w3lh.dll) in your W3 directory.
3. At the moment there is no XPAM gproxy for linux unless you manage to run it on wine. Download original GProxy from codelain instead.

GProxy FAQ

1. What is GProxy?
It is a reconnection tool that we recommend for all players. It allows you to reconnect to the game in case your internet drops for a short time period.
2. How to use GProxy?
GProxy will install in your W3 folder when you run our installer. Run gproxy.exe or click on the shortcut that was created on your desktop. When connecting to the server, you must select Eurobattle.net GProxy gateway or you'll receive error "Unable to connect".
3. How does it work?
GProxy will only work if your ghost bot is correctly configured and allows GProxy reconnection. All official server DotA Leagues support GProxy (SS, Balkan, CZSK, RO, Dotabr, EDBRL, PD...).
If your internet drops while being in the game and you get the "Waiting for host" or "You've been disconnected" screen, do not press the Quit button. Wait few seconds and GProxy will reconnect you to the game (in most of the cases).
4. Commands
Full list of commands and their explanation can be found here (http://eurobattle.net/showthread.php?t=141186).
5. How to turn off GProxy sounds permanently?
You can do that by going in your W3 folder, open file gproxy.cfg and set option_sounds from 1 to 0.
6. When to use GProxy?
When playing on our DotA Leagues or when hosting with your own bot, which support GProxy reconnection. If you mainly play PG or host CGs manually, don't use it, it will only cause you trouble.

Patching and installing errors

Most of the patching errors can be found in our TUTORIALS (http://eurobattle.net/showthread.php?t=103933). If you can't find the error there, post in our TECHNICAL SUPPORT (http://eurobattle.net/forumdisplay.php?f=18).

Server installer errors
1. Can't load (or register) custom control: +MSCOMCTL.OCX'
-This error can appear on the end of installation. You can simply ignore it.
2. Failed to create process - Hstart gproxy.exe Download and install Frameworks 3.5 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=333325fd-ae52-4e35-b531-508d977d32a6&displaylang=en). If error still appears, download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=a7b7a05e-6de6-4d3a-a423-37bf0912db84)

Connection issues and hosting

1. "Unable to connect" when connecting with GProxy
-Make sure you turned on your GProxy before connecting on Eurobattle.net GProxy gateway
-Make sure your firewall is not blocking Euroloader or GProxy
-Download this file (http://www.stefos007.no-ip.org/update/gproxy.bat) and place it in your W3 folder. (replace if asked to)
2. Game freezes when I try to host a custom game
-Turn off GProxy and reconnect on normal gateway (Eurobattle.net)
3. I get disconnected right before the game starts or right after the start, when using GProxy.
-This is a very specific problem which appears, if the hosting bot connected on the server after you did. The only solution (to play on that specific bot) is to reconnect on the server.
4. I can't host CG/PG games
-Make sure your firewall is not blocking Euroloader
-Make sure you port forwarded ports 6112-6119 (TCP and UDP) on your router
-Make sure GProxy is closed and you connected on normal (Eurobattle.net) gateway. GProxy can prevent you to manually host the game.

a quick note.
If using IE9 and all MS Updates, the browser might identify the *.exe file as "possibly harmful". Now in my opinion, this is what you get for using IE :) But, as with any of our loaders, I want to assure you there is no malicious code, but I do ask you to check for yourselves, if you should not trust us.
The online scans that you can check are:
