Obviusly, I want a laptop that would be able to run any game currently avalible (and do everything else that's possible with desktop pcs..). These 4 are collection of what is avalible on SLO market in price range from 1000-1500. There are lots of pros and cons between these 4, and I'd like some advice from you guys before I make a decision.

Thanks in advance.

//links are from some odd sites found with google, because in every country, laptops have different names and you can't even find an official representation of some specific model. The net shop I am buying from is ofc in slovenian lang.. Ofc only specs matter.

I cant decide between: Toshiba Sattelite A660 & Asus N71JQ

Toshiba has a smaller screen and hdd but since it says "Available graphics memory can be expanded using system memory, through TurboCache™ technology: up to 3,769 MB with 6 GB system memory installed, and up to 4,606 MB with 8 GB system memory, (with pre-installed 64-bit operating system)."It can support games better i think.

Asus has 1 TB hdd and bigger screen but it doesnt write if its graphics adapter can be expanded so im really not sure..Actually asus doesnt really have enough info compared to the other 2 but if u ask to me i say:

Toshiba :)

When i was buying my one i was browsing the net i saw one guy who is selling pcs said that at his shop the less damage-able(dunno correct word) are toshiba/asus and the most acer(its general knowledge that asus fail in all aspects). I have toshiba A300 and i like it, its decent, reliable,
great design(never saw nicer piece) important thing is that its very silent.
But dell has rly good customer care, if somethings get broken technician will come to your house in 24h and repair.
If it would be on me i would choose that toshiba, i think it will handle games even in far future.

For ASUS, I think you'll understand anyway: http://www.mimovrste.com/artikel/2750251022/prenosnik-asus-n71jq-ty019-16-ghz

(its general knowledge that asus fail in all aspects) you mean acer?

@Toshiba: It's all great really, just that screen is very dissapointing.

@sina: Elitebooks are expensive and not worth the price. :/

then get a probook, its totally cool and fine, i got this one,

http://www.pcpro.co.uk/reviews/laptops/357358/hp-probook-6540b

it rox, running all games without any problem, i5 processor, 4gb ram and everything, battery lasts rly long, about 2,5h, and only about 3k heavy, which is total pro, cost here in Serbia is about 900e, i got it for 850 :D

the only prob is integrated graphics card :x

That's a nono.
1071€, I could get it...but with i5, 320GB hdd and 15,6'' screen, I don't think it's worth the price.

I checked out what's up with Elitebooks. I could get something like this: http://www.mimovrste.com/artikel/2750246026/q=elitebook/prenosnik-hp-elitebook-8540p-253-ghz-wb822tc

My main question is, is it ok to go with i5 over i7? What's the difference here?

I mean, i7 has a basic frequency of 1.6, and 4 cores, while i5 has 2,53 and 2 cores. How to decide between that?

u`ll never feel that difference, I mean, if u take i5 or i7 u`ll get the almost same shit,

that laptop as I saw has 3 y (garancija, i just woke up cant think how its said on eng), and imo if u got money u should get that one, when I was buying notebook, like 1 month ago, all sellers told me only hp is worth as notebook for simply everything, from games to programming and working in photoshop and shits, so I rly suggest u get some cool hp and enjoy :D
